Have you ever dreamed about traveling to Africa?

Africa

Many people struggle to get to grips with the mysteries of
the immense African continent. With its numerous types of
wildlife of all sizes, Africa projects a unique image. The
continent is home to rhinoceroses, lions and wildebeest, to
name but a few distinctive species. Others include
elephants, leopards and many varieies of antelope, which
are found across the African plains. North Africa suggests
desert images with camels trudging over sand dunes. The
movie industry and still photographers have made good use
of the concept of the "ship of the desert" in striking
locations throughout this area.

Everything in Africa is big! Africa itself is large. In
fact, it is the second largest continent in the world and
is made up of 54 separate countries. Unsurprisingly, the
longest river in the world, the Nile, is found in Africa.
as are some of the largest expanses of water. It's not just
the animals and rivers that are large but also the
mountains and the deserts. Africa, truly is a continent of
variety.

Africa is famous for the huge stretch of land known as the
Sahara dessert. The Sahara dessert is the largest dessert
in the world. The population of Africa is huge, with almost
700 million people populating it. There are also a large
number of languages spoke in Africa, over 1,000 languages.
Poverty is a concern in many parts of Africa, especially
the remote areas. There are also large cases of malaria in
some parts of Africa.

Areas of Africa vary dramatically. Southern Africa for
example, tends to be a popular tourist destination and
is generally more wealthy and sophisticated. Many safaris
begin in South Africa as well as wine trails, which are
particularly popular with the North American visitors.
Given the huge variety of natural terrain, it is
unsurprising that Africa also boasts an impressive
collection of natural minerals and metals. Despite the
large number of countries in Africa, most people can only
name a few such as Ethiopia, Egypt or Nigeria.

As if Africa does not have enough in its favor, it is also
centrally located and most of the countries have a warm
climate throughout the year. The South has a milder
temperature which makes it an ideal place to visit in the
summer months.
